PESHAWAR: Syed Zahid Hussain Shah, a prominent social and business personality of the famous family of Peshawar, has been nominated for the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz. Syed Zahid Hussain Shah’s nomination has been made in recognition of the many social and welfare services that he has rendered in a dynamic and active manner from the platform of Syedzada Foundation despite being visually impaired. Syed Zahid Hussain Shah has been continuing his welfare, social and religious services in various fields for a long time despite being visually impaired. During this time, Syed Zahid Hussain Shah not only took the lead in providing education to poor and needy children, but also provided medical treatment to needy citizens. He also played an impressive role in caring for and rehabilitating the victims during natural disasters and epidemics that occurred at different times. In addition, Syed Zahid Hussain’s efforts in promoting religious studies among children and youth and making them skilled were also prominent.
