PESHAWAR: Taj Muhammad Khan Tarand has officially assumed charge as the Advisor to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Sports and Youth Affairs.
Upon his arrival at the Peshawar Sports Complex, he was warmly welcomed by Secretary Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Saadat Hassan and Director General Sports Tashfeen Haider.
Speaking on the occasion, Advisor Taj Muhammad Tarand expressed his commitment to fulfilling his responsibilities with honesty, integrity, and dedication in line with the vision of Chairman Imran Khan.
“There is immense sporting talent in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and we will utilize all available resources to nurture and promote it,” he stated.
He further emphasized that ongoing development projects within the Sports Department would be completed on schedule, while new initiatives would be launched across the province on a priority basis.
Following the ceremony, Director General Sports Tashfeen Haider briefed the Advisor during a visit to the Peshawar Sports Complex, where the available sports facilities were thoroughly reviewed.
