PESHAWAR: A five-day Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Case Management Training for officers and officials of the Home and Tribal Affairs Department concluded successfully under the special initiative of Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs, Tariq Saeed Marwat.
Addressing the closing ceremony, Marwat said the provincial government, under the vision of Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Khan Afridi, is committed to strengthening institutions through professional training and capacity-building initiatives. He said improving the skills of government officials would enhance public service delivery and ensure timely support for survivors of gender-based violence.
Participants received training on survivor-centred case management, confidentiality, legal and psychosocial support, inter-agency coordination, professional ethics and effective case handling. Certificates were distributed among successful participants, while trainers and partner organizations were presented with commemorative shields.
Marwat reaffirmed that similar initiatives would continue to build a modern, efficient and public-oriented Home Department capable of delivering safe and quality services across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
