The second round of the President’s Trophy Grade II, managed by the Pakistan Cricket Board, has been completed. On the last day, Eshal Associates won against PHA Rawalpindi by 194 runs at the National Cricket Ground, Islamabad. PHA had been given a target of 340 runs to win the match. But in the second innings, the PH team was bowled out for 146 runs. Aizaz Khan was the top scorer with 27 runs. Haroon Sadaqat took three wickets for Eshal Associates, giving away 32 runs. Aftab Ahmed, Muhammad Shan and Shahzeb Bhatti took two wickets each.
At the Railway Cricket Stadium, Haripur, the Kingsman Academy team defeated Ahmed Glass by 124 runs. 395 runs were required to win the match, but the entire team was bundled out for 271 runs. Rehman Khan played a good innings of 75 and Muhammad Burhan 74 runs. But they could not save the team from defeat. Muhammad Rizwan and Muhammad Tayyab dismissed three players each from Kingsman Academy.Muhammad Tayyab declared man of the match.
In the match between JWD Sugar Mills team and MIT Solution at the Abbottabad ground, MIT won by 8 wickets. MIT Solution team needed 111 runs to win the match. They achieved this with the loss of two wickets. Muhammad Farooq remained not out on 62 runs, which included four fours and five sixes.
In a Group B match, Ghani Institute defeated HEC by 138 runs. HEC was given a target of 397 runs to win the match, but the entire team was dismissed for 259 runs. Adil Khan played a best innings of 139 runs, which included seventeen fours and four sixes. Hammad Aziz dismissed three players for Ghani Institute.
