MALAKAND: The University of Malakand Department of Pashto organized an orientation session for the newly admitted MPhil and PhD scholars for the Spring Semester 2026.
The session was chaired by Prof Dr Ali Khel Daryab, Chairperson of the Department of Pashto, who warmly welcomed the scholars and introduced them to the faculty members. He congratulated the newly admitted students and assured them of full academic support during their research journey.
During the session, Dr Noor ul Basar Aman, MPhil and PhD Coordinator, delivered a comprehensive presentation highlighting the structure, duration, and curriculum of the postgraduate programs.
Meanwhile, Dr Naveed Jamal, CMS Focal Person of the department, briefed the scholars on the use and significance of the Campus Management System (CMS).
Similarly, Dr Mazhar Ahmad, Focal Person of the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), shared valuable information regarding upcoming online surveys and guided the scholars about plagiarism detection in research work.
In addition, Dr Samandar Yousafzai, in his capacity as Deputy Chief Proctor, briefed the participants on the university’s rules and regulations.
The session concluded with a group photograph of faculty members along with the newly admitted MPhil and PhD scholars. 📚🎓
