Islamabad: The Founder Pakistan Front Movement (PFM) Lal Dino Mari Baloch, has strongly urged the federal and provincial governments to ensure immediate protection and the provision of all basic facilities to the families displaced from the Tirah Valley in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In a statement issued today, Baloch said that children, elderly people, and women who have been forced to flee the Tirah Valley are facing extreme hardship, living under the open sky in severe winter conditions. He described the situation as a grave humanitarian tragedy and stressed that it is the fundamental responsibility of the state to arrange secure shelter, adequate food, and essential medicines for the affected families without delay.
Expressing deep concern, he stated that the brave and dignified Pashtun nation has once again been compelled to leave their homes in the name of restoring peace, which is a clear testament to their unmatched sacrifices. He emphasized that the Pashtun people have always made extraordinary sacrifices for peace and stability in the country, yet they continue to suffer the most whenever such crises arise.
Baloch demanded that the government should take comprehensive and practical steps for the immediate support and long run rehabilitation of the displaced families, ensuring that their dignity and self-respect are preserved and that they are able to return to their homes as soon as possible with honor.
In conclusion, paying tribute to the sacrifices of the Pashtun nation, he reaffirmed that Pakistan Front Movement will continue to stand with the oppressed and affected people in every difficult time and will keep raising its voice for their legitimate rights.
