Pakistan, US Discuss Modern Farming & Dairy Technology

KARACHI: US Consul General Goodman met with leaders from Pakistan’s agriculture sector to discuss the industry’s strengths, challenges and opportunities, with a focus on major crops, modern farming practices and technological advancement.
During the meeting, participants explored opportunities for cooperation between US agricultural technology providers and Pakistani businesses to improve productivity and efficiency across the sector.
Discussions covered the potential use of US agricultural technology, modern machinery, and equipment for dairy farming, animal feed production and aquaculture. Such partnerships could help Pakistani businesses adopt improved farming techniques, enhance production capacity and strengthen the country’s agricultural sector.
The engagement also highlighted opportunities for closer business ties between Pakistan and the United States through the exchange of technology, expertise and modern agricultural solutions.
