SWABI: On the occasion of Youm-e-Istehsal-e-Kashmir (Kashmir Exploitation Day), the Vice Chancellor of Women University Swabi, Prof. Dr. Ghazala Yasmin, delivered a powerful message, stating, “The days of oppression are coming to an end. Just as dawn follows the darkest night, the shadow of tyranny shall soon give way to the light of freedom. The valley of Kashmir will soon witness the rising sun of peace, sovereignty, and dignity.”
She expressed these sentiments on August 5, 2025, during a special event held at the university to mark the day. The event saw enthusiastic participation from both students and faculty members.
Prof. Dr. Ghazala Yasmin emphasized that the struggle of the Kashmiri people is awakening the conscience of the global community. “Silence in the face of brutality is no less than complicity. The international community must speak out against Indian atrocities and uphold the Kashmiris’ right to self-determination in line with UN resolutions,” she urged.
She further stressed that the people of Pakistan, educational institutions, and especially the youth will never forget the sacrifices of the Kashmiri people and will continue to support their cause on every platform.
