MARDAN: In a continued effort to promote spiritual awareness and social responsibility during the holy month of Ramadan, the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) at Women University Mardan organized a special lecture titled:
“رمضان المبارک: اصلاح باطن سے اصلاح معاشرہ تک”
(The Blessed Ramadan: From Inner Reformation to Social Reform)
The session featured Dr. Fayaz Ali, Department of Islamic Studies, University of Peshawar, as the guest speaker.
The lecture emphasized the ethical and spiritual dimensions of Ramadan and highlighted the importance of inner self-purification as a foundation for social harmony and moral development. Dr. Fayaz Ali discussed how the teachings of Ramadan provide a comprehensive framework for personal growth and collective well-being, fostering values that contribute to a more responsible and compassionate society.
Faculty members, research scholars, and university staff attended the event, reflecting the institution’s commitment to intellectual and spiritual discourse alongside academic excellence.
Addressing the participants, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Razia Sultana underscored the university’s dedication to integrating ethical and spiritual values within educational and professional development. She appreciated the ORIC team for organizing an initiative that encourages self-reflection and social awareness.
Dr. Ali’s lecture provided valuable insights into the practical application of Ramadan’s principles in contemporary society. The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer segment, enabling participants to engage in meaningful discussions on personal and societal transformation.
