KOHAT: Vice Chancellor Kohat University of Science and Technology (KUST), Professor Dr. Syed Zafar Ilyas, paid a detailed visit to the university’s Hangu Campus. He was accompanied by Registrar Mr. Rauf Khan, Director Administration Asad Habib, Protocol Officer Asim Shah, and Director Works Altaf Hussain. The purpose of the visit was to review academic and administrative activities and to engage directly with faculty and students.
Upon arrival, the Vice Chancellor was warmly received by the Director Hangu Campus, Dr. Waheedullah, who briefed the delegation on various departments, academic progress, and ongoing developmental initiatives at the campus.
During his visit, the Vice Chancellor appreciated the efforts of the campus administration and faculty. In a meeting with the teaching staff, he listened to their concerns, suggestions, and views on the future of the campus. He assured them that pressing issues—such as salaries for contract-based faculty, engagement during summer vacations, and other critical matters—would be addressed on a priority basis.
Dr. Zafar Ilyas also expressed his commitment to working with local representatives to elevate the Hangu Campus to the status of a full-fledged university in the future.
