Peshawar: The funeral prayer of the Head Watcher of the Wildlife Department, who was martyred while trying to extinguish a wildfire on a mountain in Mankial, was held on Sunday in Bahrain. The funeral was attended by Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Forests, Wildlife, Environment and Climate Change, Pir Musavir Khan, district administration officials, mayor Bahrain, officials of Forest and Wildlife Departments and local residents.
On the occasion, the Special Assistant expressed deep sorrow and grief over the martyrdom of the Head Watcher who laid down his life for the protection of forest. He offered heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and paid tribute to the courage and dedication of the martyr, stating that he is pride of the department and that the provincial government recognizes his sacrifice.
Pir Musavir Khan further stated that, as per the announcement of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the martyr’s family will be provided with the Shuhada Package. He assured the bereaved family of all support from the provincial government.
