Swabi: A meeting was held at Women University Swabi under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Ghazala Yasmin, with representatives from various departments in attendance. The purpose of the meeting was to plan further practical steps to support the people affected by the recent devastation in Swabi and Buner.
It was decided that following the medical and mental health camp to be held in Buner on Friday, another relief program would be organized. Under this program, food packages will be distributed among affected families to meet their immediate needs.
On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Ghazala Yasmin directed the student societies to play an active role. She said that the students of Women University are not only excelling in academics but are also setting an example in community service. She instructed the society in-charges to immediately begin the collection of donations and relief goods so that the program could be completed on time.
Professor Dr. Ghazala Yasmin reaffirmed that Women University Swabi will continue to stand with the people in every difficult time and will fulfill its educational as well as social responsibilities.
