KARACHI: In a remarkable achievement that has brought honor to the entire force, Sindh Police Constable Hamza Ahmed has clinched the prestigious Mr Karachi title, proving that police officers not only serve with dedication in the line of duty but also excel in the field of sports. Currently posted in the Investigation Branch of District Keamari (South Zone) Hamza joined Sindh Police in 2017. Even before donning the uniform, he was actively participating in bodybuilding competitions. His passion for fitness earned him the runner-up position in the Junior Mr Karachi contest earlier in his career. After six years of relentless effort, strict discipline and unwavering determination, Hamza finally secured the Mr Karachi title — a milestone he describes as the result of patience and perseverance.

Speaking about his journey, Hamza said the path was far from easy. “Policing is a demanding profession with a hectic routine, but it all depends on how passionate and dedicated you are toward your goal,” he shared. Despite the challenging nature of his job, he managed to balance his professional responsibilities with rigorous gym training to prepare for the competition.

Hamza credited senior officers for their encouragement and support. He expressed gratitude to DIG South Zone Syed Asad Raza, who provided him relief and assistance ahead of upcoming championships. Additional IG Karachi Azad Khan also met Hamza and congratulated him on his achievement. In recognition of his outstanding accomplishment, DIG South Zone & Karachi Police Chief presented him with a commemorative shield and certificate of appreciation, acknowledging his hard work and commitment. DIG South Asad Raza also assured full support and facilitation for his preparation in upcoming national and international championships, reaffirming Sindh Police’s commitment to encouraging positive extracurricular excellence among its personnel.

Highlighting the essentials of athletic success, Hamza emphasized three key factors: regular exercise, a strict diet plan, and discipline. He revealed that he trained intensively for five to six months prior to the competition, following a carefully structured diet and maintaining consistency in his workouts twice a day.

Encouraged by the support of Sindh Police, Hamza now aims higher. He is preparing to compete for the Mr Pakistan title and another international level Championship. “My goal is not only to compete nationally but also on international platforms and proudly represent Pakistan and Sindh Police,” he said.
Hamza’s remarkable achievement reflects the diverse talent and determination within Sindh Police, demonstrating that the police are not only committed to maintaining law and order but also capable of excelling in competitive sports at prestigious platforms.
