Kundi Praises Bilour’s Democratic Legacy

ISLAMABAD: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi met with former Federal Minister and senior Awami National Party (ANP) leader Haji Ghulam Ahmad Bilour in Islamabad. Former Governor Shaukatullah Khan was also present during the meeting.
The leaders discussed the overall political situation in the country, challenges facing the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the promotion of democratic traditions, and other matters of mutual interest.
Governor Faisal Karim Kundi paid tribute to Haji Ghulam Ahmad Bilour for his outstanding contributions to democracy, public service, and national politics. He said Bilour had played a significant role in strengthening democratic values, protecting public rights, and promoting the development of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through his long political career.
The Governor noted that Bilour had always remained committed to the philosophy of peace, non-violence, tolerance, and public service inspired by Bacha Khan. He praised his principled politics, political wisdom, and efforts to promote dialogue, democratic values, and national harmony.
Governor Kundi also commended Bilour’s welfare services, close connection with the people, and his contributions to resolving public issues during his tenure as Federal Minister, emphasizing that the experience and wisdom of senior political leaders remain invaluable.
Haji Ghulam Ahmad Bilour appreciated Governor Faisal Karim Kundi’s political and public service efforts and expressed hope that all political forces would continue to work together for democratic stability, national unity, and the welfare of the people.
