ISLAMABAD: The Students Society of National Influencers, Students for Economic and Social Affairs (SESA), in collaboration with Students For Liberty, successfully organized a 4-Day Free Market Leadership Bootcamp in Islamabad, bringing together dynamic student leaders from across Pakistan, including Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, and Balochistan.
Participants represented diverse universities and academic backgrounds, reflecting strong geographic diversity and national engagement. The bootcamp focused on equipping students with a deeper understanding of market-oriented ideas and principled leadership.
Over four days, participants engaged in intensive sessions on market economy, individual liberty, limited government, rule of law, economic freedom, taxation, regulation, and the cost of doing business in Pakistan. Discussions also explored the origins of market economies rooted in classical and Enlightenment thought, alongside training in effective communication skills and the philosophical foundations of a free society.
Prominent speakers included Dr. Fayaz Shah (ECMPR), Zartasha Inayat (Prime Institute), Rashid Ali, Professor at Quaid-e-Azam University, Ayesha Gul, Muhammad Sulaiman, Muhammad Usman, and Habib Aurakzai from National Influencers. The speakers shared their expertise and practical insights on advancing economic and social freedom in Pakistan.
Beyond lectures, the bootcamp emphasized experiential learning. SESA leaders were equipped with hands-on tools and strategies to replicate these learnings at their respective campuses. Participants actively engaged in group activities, cultural representations, and drama performances highlighting Pakistan’s pressing socio-economic challenges while proposing market-based solutions. The interactive format fostered critical thinking, collaboration, and leadership development.
In addition to academic sessions, participants explored key cultural landmarks of Islamabad, strengthening bonds and promoting national unity among student leaders from different provinces.
The successful conclusion of the bootcamp marks another significant step toward building a strong network of principled young leaders committed to advancing economic freedom, individual liberty, and responsible governance across Pakistan.
