MARDAN: The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Mardan proudly held its historic 1st Convocation today, where 380 graduates, including PhD, Master’s, and Bachelor’s degree students, were awarded their degrees in a prestigious and memorable ceremony.
The event was graced by the Chief Guest, MPA Abdul Salam Afridi, who congratulated the graduates on their academic success and appreciated the role of UET Mardan in promoting quality engineering education and research in the region. He encouraged the graduates to utilize their knowledge and skills for the development of the country and to contribute positively towards society and technological progress.
The ceremony was attended by Vice Chancellor Dr. Gul Muhammad Khan, faculty members, university officials, parents, and distinguished guests. In his address, Dr. Gul Muhammad Khan congratulated the graduates on their remarkable achievement and encouraged them to uphold the values of integrity, innovation, and professional excellence. He emphasized the role of engineers and professionals in driving technological advancement and sustainable development in Pakistan. He further praised the dedication and hard work of the students and reaffirmed the university’s commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and research-driven education, urging the graduates to uphold professionalism, integrity, and lifelong learning in their careers.
