Bajaur: A dignified ceremony and rally were held in Bajaur to express solidarity with the Pakistan Armed Forces. On the directives of Deputy Commissioner Bajaur Shahid Ali Khan, the event was organized at the Civil Colony Jirga Hall under the supervision of Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Shahid Rafiq Gandapur. The ceremony was attended by officials of the district administration, police authorities, representatives of the Education Department, TMA, Rescue 1122 personnel, local elders, and a large number of youth. The event commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a special prayer for the country’s security, stability, and lasting peace.
Speakers paid rich tribute to the unmatched sacrifices of the Pakistan Army, stating that the services of the security forces in defending the country and maintaining peace are unforgettable. They expressed concern over recent cross-border provocations, describing such incidents as a threat to regional peace. The speakers reaffirmed that the Pakistani nation stands shoulder to shoulder with its armed forces and will remain united to foil any conspiracy aimed at destabilizing the country.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, participants took out a rally from the Civil Colony Jirga Hall to the Main Chowk. The rally participants carried national flags and banners bearing slogans in support of border security and peace. Strong slogans were raised during the rally, and it concluded with a collective prayer for the country’s security and the establishment of enduring peace and order.
