Peshawar: During the recording of AVT Khyber’s popular program “Khyber Show” last night, esteemed host and recipient of the presidential award Jamshed Ali Khan fell from the stage and sustained injuries.
According to sources, he lost his balance during the recording and fell off the stage, resulting in injuries to his shoulder and back. He was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital, where he is currently under treatment. Doctors are conducting various medical tests.
Following the incident, Zaki-ur-Rehman took over the hosting duties and continued the show as scheduled.
Several performers also participated in the program, including Bakhtiar Khattak, Samina Naz, Wajiha Swati, Salma Swati, Arslan Shah, Akbar Khan, and Shahzad Khayal.
Hospital sources say that Jamshed Ali Khan is being closely monitored, and further details will be shared after the test reports are received.
