PESHAWAR: Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Tourism, Culture, Antiquities and Museums, Malik Adeel Iqbal, has said that all possible facilities will be ensured for tourists visiting the province during Eid-ul-Azha.
During his visit to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority, he stressed the need to promote tourism through the development of new tourist destinations and improved facilities. He noted that millions of tourists visit KP every year, making effective arrangements and visitor services essential.
Secretary Tourism Saadat Hassan briefed him on ongoing tourism initiatives, including the Tourism Helpline 1422, tourist data management, awareness campaigns, and integrated tourism zones being developed through public-private partnerships.
Malik Adeel Iqbal appreciated the performance of the Tourism Police and directed all tourism authorities to ensure smooth arrangements during Eid holidays so that visitors do not face any inconvenience. He also distributed new motorcycles to Tourism Police personnel to strengthen their operational capacity.
