According to WSSP officials, around 4,000 personnel are taking part in the operation, while 800 vehicles have been deployed for the collection of waste and animal remains. Sixteen collection points have been established for waste disposal across 42 union councils of the city.

WSSP stated that lime, chlorine, pesticides, sprays, and rose water arrangements have been made throughout the city, with regular morning and evening spraying campaigns underway. Special waste disposal bags are also being distributed among citizens, while complaint cells will remain active round the clock during Eid holidays.

The sanitation authority further said that waste would be disposed of scientifically at the Shamshtu disposal site. Dewatering pumps, jetting machines, water tankers, and emergency response vehicles have also been kept on standby to handle rain or any emergency situation.

The District Administration Peshawar and WSSP appealed to citizens to cooperate fully with sanitation teams to help keep the city clean, hygienic, and environmentally friendly during Eid-ul-Adha.
