ASTANA: Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Kazakhstan on a state visit from May 27 to 29 to participate in the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council and the Eurasian Economic Forum.
President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev warmly welcomed President Putin upon his arrival.
During the visit, both leaders held bilateral talks focusing on strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance between Russia and Kazakhstan. They also discussed important regional and international issues of mutual interest.
