In a move aimed at enhancing organizational efficiency and strengthening support for the artistic community, the Pakistan Directors, Producers, Writers and Artists Association (Registered), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has announced key appointments to its leadership team. The appointments were approved by the Executive Council on the recommendation of Chairman Professor Sajjad Ali Orakzai.
According to official notifications issued by the association, Ahmad Nawaz has been appointed as General Secretary, Manzoor Khan as Finance Secretary, and Shahid Javed as Press and Information Secretary. The appointments have taken effect immediately.
Ahmad Nawaz is a well-known figure in the media, film, television, and production sectors. He has successfully managed a production house for many years and has rendered distinguished services as a cameraman, editor, and director.
Manzoor Khan is a prominent poet, writer, and media anchor. He has been associated with the association since its establishment and has remained an active and dedicated member, consistently playing a significant role in organizational affairs.
Shahid Javed is a graduate of the National College of Arts (NCA), Lahore, and has been serving Pakistan Television for the past 26 years as a Set Designer and Design Manager. His contributions to the promotion of fine arts and cultural activities have been widely appreciated.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Professor Sajjad Ali Orakzai expressed confidence that all office-bearers would utilize their professional expertise, experience, and commitment to serve the artistic community, strengthen the association, and promote arts and culture across the province. He said the newly appointed team would employ its full potential to make the organization more active, stronger, and effective.
The Pakistan Directors, Producers, Writers and Artists Association (Registered), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, congratulated the newly appointed office-bearers and extended its best wishes for their success in their respective responsibilities.
