ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research Rana Tanveer Hussain held a productive discussion with representatives of Germany, focusing on strengthening bilateral cooperation in agriculture, livestock and development initiatives.

During the meeting, both sides acknowledged the longstanding partnership between Germany and Pakistan and appreciated the valuable contributions of German Development Cooperation towards Pakistan’s socio-economic development.

The discussion also focused on exploring new opportunities for enhanced private-sector collaboration in the agriculture and livestock sectors. Both sides emphasized the importance of innovation, investment and knowledge-sharing to improve productivity and sustainability in these key sectors.

Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain highlighted the government’s commitment to modernizing agriculture, ensuring food security and promoting livestock development through international cooperation and partnerships.

The meeting reflected the shared commitment of Pakistan and Germany to further deepen cooperation in areas of mutual interest and create new opportunities for economic growth and agricultural development.
