PESHAWAR: Raja Afrasayab Khan, a prominent member of the Pakistani community based in Paris, was warmly welcomed and honored during his visit to Peshawar by various sports organizations and personalities.
The Sports Writers Association Khyber Pakhtunkhwa presented Raja Afrasayab Khan with a traditional shawl and commemorative gifts in recognition of his services and longstanding association with the sports community. President of the association, Asim Shiraz, was appreciated for arranging the warm reception and honoring the distinguished guest.
During his visit, Raja Afrasayab Khan was also honored by the KP Volleyball Association. He attended the Balochistan versus Punjab volleyball match as the chief guest, where sports officials and players welcomed his presence. Special appreciation was extended to Waqar Khan for recognizing and honoring him on the occasion.
Raja Afrasayab Khan also met with Director General Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Tashfin Haidar, and discussed matters related to sports promotion and community engagement.
Speaking during various engagements, Raja Afrasayab Khan expressed gratitude for the hospitality extended to him by the people and sports fraternity of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He graciously offered his support and hospitality to friends and visitors traveling to Paris, assuring that he would personally assist and host those visiting the French capital in the future.
The visit was marked by cordial interactions and highlighted the strong connections between overseas Pakistanis and the sporting community of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
