PROVINCE REPORT
CHAKDARA: The 67th meeting of the Syndicate of the University of Malakand was held on Saturday under the chairmanship of Acting Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mir Azam Khan.
The Syndicate reviewed and discussed the recommendations of the 33rd meeting of the Finance and Planning Committee, including the Budget Estimates for the financial year 2026–27. After detailed deliberations, the Syndicate unanimously approved the recommendations and appreciated the University administration for presenting a balanced, prudent, and financially sustainable budget.
The meeting also congratulated the University administration on securing the third position among public sector universities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the provincial university rankings. Members acknowledged the visionary leadership of the Vice Chancellor and the collective efforts of the faculty, officers, and staff in achieving this milestone.
The Syndicate further extended its heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Dr. Mir Azam Khan on assuming charge as Acting Vice Chancellor and expressed confidence that, under his leadership, the University of Malakand would continue to make progress in academic excellence, institutional development, and good governance.
