BAJAUR : In another significant step aimed at improving public service delivery, the Bajaur Police, under the leadership of District Police Officer (DPO) Muhammad Khalid Khan, have inaugurated a Police Facilitation Desk at the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital in Khar. Under the newly introduced system, computerized Medico-Legal Certificates (MLCs) will now be transmitted directly to the relevant police stations through an online platform, eliminating unnecessary visits and paperwork for citizens.
According to police officials, the initiative will save time, enhance transparency, and expedite legal procedures, while also strengthening coordination between the Police Department and the Health Department.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, DPO Muhammad Khalid Khan said that Bajaur Police are committed to providing modern, efficient, and timely policing services by making effective use of technology. He stated that strengthening public trust in the police remains a top priority, and that the adoption of modern technology is helping make police services more effective and citizen-friendly.
The DPO directed the concerned officials to ensure that the facilitation desk and the online MLC system remain fully operational and are managed with professionalism and responsibility so that the public can receive uninterrupted services. He reaffirmed that Bajaur Police will continue to introduce public-oriented initiatives and promote modern policing to improve service delivery in the district.
