PESHAWAR : Pakistan Hindkowan Tehreek Provincial President Akbar Sethi has termed the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly’s approval of blue passports and other privileges for MPAs and their families an anti-people decision.

In a statement, he said that while the province faces a financial crisis and citizens struggle with poor healthcare, education, unemployment, and law and order, the government is prioritizing lawmakers’ privileges instead of public welfare.

Sethi urged the government to focus on creating jobs, improving basic services, and maintaining peace. He said elected representatives were chosen to serve the people, not to enjoy special privileges, adding that Pakistan Hindkowan Tehreek would continue to oppose such decisions through constitutional and democratic means.
