PESHAWAR: Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs, Tariq Saeed Marwat, met various delegations from his constituency at his office on Wednesday. During the meeting, the delegations apprised him of a range of public issues and development-related matters concerning their respective areas. The Special Assistant listened to their concerns in detail and issued necessary directions to the relevant authorities for their prompt resolution.

Speaking on the occasion, Tariq Saeed Marwat said that all available resources would be utilized to address the problems being faced by the public and that any unnecessary delay in resolving genuine public issues would not be tolerated.

He said that, in line with the vision of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan and the good governance policy of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Sohail Khan Afridi, the timely and effective resolution of public grievances remains the foremost priority of the provincial government. He added that public service, transparent governance, merit and accountability constitute the fundamental pillars of the government’s agenda.

The Special Assistant said that his office remains open to the public at all times and that every possible effort is being made to ensure the prompt redressal of citizens’ complaints, resolution of basic public issues and promotion of public welfare. He directed the concerned authorities to deal with public matters with seriousness, responsibility and efficiency to ensure the provision of improved and effective public services.

Reaffirming the provincial government’s commitment to public service, Tariq Saeed Marwat said that sustained efforts would continue to strengthen a system based on transparency, merit and justice, while all available resources would be utilized to ensure lasting solutions to the problems faced by the people.
