UPPER DIR: A Memorandum of Understanding was signed today between the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Foundation (KPEF) and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University Sheringal (SBBU Sheringal)at SBBU Sheringal.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Badshah Hussain, Registrar of SBBU, and Muhammad Saqib, Director Academics of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Foundation. On this occasion, SBBU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Sardar Khan and senior officials from both institutions were present.

Under this MoU, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Foundation will provide 80% tuition fee scholarships to deserving and underprivileged students of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University Sheringal. These scholarships will be awarded purely on merit to students who have excellent academic records but cannot afford the cost of higher education.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Foundation is a corporate body established in 1992 under an Act of the Provincial Assembly. Its main objective is to promote and develop education in the private sector in the province. All administrative and managerial powers of the Foundation lie with the Board of Directors, which is chaired by the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

This Memorandum of Understanding will remain in effect for four years and may be renewed with the mutual written consent of both parties. Both institutions also reserve the right to amend this agreement at any time with mutual written consent.

SBBU Sheringal Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Sardar Khan (Sitara-e-Imtiaz) described this MoU as a positive step for the deserving and talented students of the university.
