SHANGLA : A comprehensive training session on first aid and firefighting was organized for the staff of the District Judiciary Shangla in accordance with the directives of the Peshawar High Court. Experts from Rescue 1122 Shangla provided practical training to judicial staff on responding effectively to emergencies, administering immediate first aid and taking precautionary measures in the event of a fire.
During the session, participants were trained in providing immediate medical assistance, handling injured persons, responding to fire emergencies, using firefighting equipment and adopting essential safety measures. The practical exercises were aimed at enhancing the staff’s ability to respond quickly and effectively during unforeseen situations within court premises.
The training was organized with the objective of strengthening the emergency response capabilities of judicial staff and ensuring that they are adequately prepared to protect lives and property in the event of an emergency.
Recent fire incidents at public institutions, particularly major government hospitals, have further highlighted the importance of fire safety and emergency preparedness. Such incidents serve as a reminder that timely response, basic first aid skills and awareness of fire safety procedures can play a vital role in preventing loss of life during emergencies.
Senior Civil Judge Shangla, Syed Ijlal Hussain, played an important role in organizing the training session and ensuring effective arrangements. The practical training helped enhance the professional capacity of judicial staff while also improving their confidence and preparedness to deal with emergency situations.
The District Judiciary Shangla appreciated the cooperation and professional services of Rescue 1122 Shangla and stated that further training sessions would continue to be organized in phases to provide judicial staff with comprehensive training in first aid, fire safety and emergency response.
Officials said that such training programs are essential for creating a culture of safety within judicial institutions and ensuring that staff members are capable of taking timely and appropriate action in critical situations, thereby contributing to the protection of human lives.
