PROVINCE REPORT
PESHAWAR: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Arbab Khizar Hayat has criticised the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government over what he described as its failure to maintain law and order in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, despite being in its third tenure in the province.
Speaking at a press briefing at the Peshawar Press Club on Thursday, Arbab Khizar Hayat, Additional Information Secretary of PML-N Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, said the provincial government had focused on securing the release of “Prisoner Number 804” but had failed to deliver on its responsibilities.
He alleged that instead of fulfilling its commitments to the people after securing their votes, the PTI government had allowed terrorism and insecurity to prevail in the province.
