CHARSADDA: Senior PMS Officer Dr. Azmatullah Wazir has officially taken charge as the Deputy Commissioner of Charsadda. Upon assuming office, he expressed his commitment to establishing a public-friendly, transparent, and proactive administration. The Deputy Commissioner stated that the district administration will adopt an open-door policy to allow citizens to directly present their issues, and every possible step will be taken to eliminate corruption.
He emphasized that there will be no compromise on public service delivery and that all departments must fulfill their responsibilities with honesty and dedication. Public welfare and institutional transparency will be top priorities.
Dr. Azmatullah Wazir further stated that effective action will be taken to eliminate encroachments across the district to ensure open roads, accessible parks, and a clean environment for the citizens. He added that coordinated efforts will be made to make Charsadda a beautiful, modern, and environmentally friendly city.
Giving importance to the healthcare sector, the Deputy Commissioner said that all hospitals in the district will be turned into true centers of healing, where the public will receive quality medical facilities. He also made it clear that no illegal housing societies will be allowed within the district boundaries, and strict action will be taken against such activities.
Highlighting the need for environmental improvement, he announced plans to expand the tree plantation campaign, aiming to plant as many trees as possible to ensure clean air for future generations.
Recognizing the importance of youth development, he said the district administration will take practical steps to equip young people with vocational skills through various training programs, enabling them to secure employment and become self-reliant.
Dr. Azmatullah Wazir instructed all government departments to ensure timely resolution of public issues and to fully implement the policies of the district administration.
