PESHAWAR : The inauguration ceremony of the new building of Bait-ul-Aitam, established to provide better care, education, training, and a safe environment for orphaned children, was held yesterday at Chowk Garri Khana, Lahori Gate. District Social Welfare Officer Shoaib Khan inaugurated the building by cutting the ribbon.
The ceremony was attended by Kotwali SHO Fazal Jan, Blind School Principal and Committee Member Muhammad Arif, Assistant Commissioner Fiza, Assistant Director Kamran, Legal Adviser Naumanuddin Advocate, as well as Child Protection officials, lawyers, journalists, and prominent personalities from various walks of life.
On the occasion, Bait-ul-Aitam Chairperson Maria Khan gave the guests a tour of different sections of the new building and briefed them about the facilities being provided to the orphaned children. She said that all available resources were being utilized to ensure better care, education, training, and a secure future for orphaned children.
During the ceremony, a cake was also cut with the orphaned girls, while the guests spent time with the children and encouraged them. The participants appreciated the efforts of Bait-ul-Aitam in supporting orphaned children and providing them with a better and more secure environment.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Maria Khan thanked all the guests and expressed her commitment that Bait-ul-Aitam would continue its services to provide orphaned children with love, protection, education, and proper training.
