PROVINCE REPORT

MUZAFFARABAD: Inspector General of Police Azad Jammu and Kashmir Liaqat Ali Malik has ruled out any negotiations with individuals involved in attacks on police personnel, saying there would be no leniency for those responsible for killing or injuring law enforcement officers.

Speaking to the media, the AJK police chief said several police personnel had been martyred and many others injured while performing their duties to maintain law and order. He stressed that policing is about enforcing the law, while political issues should be addressed through political processes.
