PESHAWAR: The Hayatabad Sports Complex Gymnastics Academy has announced its female athletes for the District Inter-Club Gymnastics Championship being organized under the supervision of the Provincial Gymnastics Association and District Gymnastics Association as part of Independence Day celebrations.

A training camp is currently underway at the academy to prepare the selected athletes for the championship and help them deliver strong performances.

Ayesha, Fajar and Hafsa have been selected to represent the academy in the championship. The three athletes are undergoing intensive training, with the coaching staff expressing confidence in their performance.

Academy coach Muhammad Gul said the gymnastics associations were making efforts to promote the sport in Peshawar and across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said district-level championships provide young athletes with an important platform to showcase their abilities and progress in the sport.

He added that athletes who perform well at district and provincial competitions could earn opportunities to compete at national and international levels and bring recognition to the country.

Muhammad Gul said Ayesha, Fajar and Hafsa were in good form ahead of the championship scheduled for August 13 and expressed hope that they would deliver their best performances and make the Hayatabad Sports Complex Gymnastics Academy proud.
