PESHAWAR: Bank of Khyber hosted an academic engagement session at its Training Academy in Hayatabad in collaboration with Institute of Management Sciences as part of the Capacity Building Strategy (CB-11) of State Bank of Pakistan.
The session provided students with practical insights into Islamic Banking, Shariah compliance, and the evolving landscape of the Islamic financial industry.
The session was led by Abdul Aleem Khan, Head Shariah Compliance at BoK, and Dr. Adnan Malik, Assistant Professor Islamic Finance & Industry Chair, CEIF, IMSciences. Participants engaged in meaningful discussions on the opportunities and future direction of Shariah-compliant banking in Pakistan.
The speakers emphasized the growing importance of Islamic finance and highlighted the need for industry-academia collaboration to prepare future professionals for the banking sector.
