RAWALPINDI: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, COAS & CDF, visited Gujranwala and Sialkot Garrisons, where he was briefed on the formations’ operational readiness and key initiatives aimed at strengthening combat preparedness.
During the visit, the Field Marshal witnessed field training exercises and inspected advanced simulator training facilities. He lauded the formations for their high professional standards and overall state of readiness. Emphasizing technological adaptability, he noted that modern warfare demands agility, precision, enhanced situational awareness, and swift decision-making.

Interacting with officers and soldiers, the COAS & CDF commended their high morale and unwavering commitment to national security. He underscored the importance of rigorous, mission-oriented training and reaffirmed that the Pakistan Army remains fully focused on addressing internal and external challenges, including hostile hybrid campaigns, extremist ideologies, and divisive elements undermining national stability.
Earlier upon arrival at Gujranwala, the COAS & CDF was received by the Corps Commander Gujranwala.
