RAWALPINDI: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI(M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff, visited Turbat, Balochistan to review the prevailing security situation, assess development initiatives, and reinforce civil-military coordination for the province’s stability and prosperity. The Chief Minister and Chief Secretary of Balochistan, along with other senior officials, were also present.
Briefing on Security and Socio-Economic Projects
COAS received a comprehensive briefing on security dynamics, including the threat perspective, successful operations against Fitna al Hindustan, ongoing development projects, and initiatives aimed at improving socio-economic conditions in southern Balochistan.
Emphasis on Good Governance and People-Centric Progress
During discussions with the Chief Minister and civil administration representatives, Field Marshal Asim Munir underscored the importance of good governance, infrastructure development, and inclusive progress. He reaffirmed Pakistan Army’s unwavering support for all initiatives enhancing socio-economic development in southern Balochistan.
Appreciation for Troops’ Commitment and Morale
In his interaction with troops, COAS praised their high morale, operational readiness, and dedication to safeguarding national sovereignty. He commended their efforts in ensuring regional peace and stability despite challenging circumstances.
