PTV National Peshawar Center has officially launched its new international weekly program, “Da Jwand Qissa Pa Imarat Ke” (The Story of Life in the UAE), with recording commencing in the United Arab Emirates yesterday. This unique program will present the real-life stories of successful businesspeople and overseas Pakistanis living in the Gulf countries and the wider Arab world, highlighting their lives, struggles, experiences, and achievements.
Through this program, viewers will gain insight into the various aspects of successful individuals’ lives, while also receiving useful information about business, investment, employment opportunities, real estate, transportation, visa services, and other sectors. The primary objective of the show is to showcase the journeys and accomplishments of successful personalities, provide positive role models for the younger generation, highlight the contributions of overseas Pakistanis, and offer the business community a credible national platform.
The program will be hosted and produced by renowned media personality Asif Ali Yousafzai, who has been associated with journalism, program production, hosting, cultural activities, current affairs, drama, magazine shows, and special broadcasts for more than two decades. The Executive Producer of the program will be Ibrahim Kamal, General Manager of PTV National Peshawar, under whose supervision and guidance the project is being implemented.
One of the program’s key features is its multilingual presentation. The first segment is being recorded in the Pashto language, while special episodes will also be produced in Hindko, Punjabi, Urdu, and other Pakistani languages to ensure that audiences across Pakistan and overseas Pakistanis around the world can receive the message in their native languages.
Each episode will be approximately 25 minutes long and will be broadcast on PTV National at various times, allowing viewers in Pakistan and different regions of the world to watch the program at their convenience. Selected segments and highlights will also be shared on various social media platforms.
According to the organizers, recording has already begun, while regular broadcasts on PTV National will commence after the conclusion of the holy month of Muharram. In the future, recordings will not only take place in the UAE but will also expand to Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, and other Gulf countries. Later, the program is planned to extend to the United Kingdom, Europe, Türkiye, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Australia, and other countries, enabling the stories of overseas Pakistanis and successful entrepreneurs to reach a global audience.
On this occasion, members of the Pakistani community in the UAE, business leaders, and individuals from various walks of life praised the services of PTV National Peshawar General Manager Ibrahim Kamal and expressed their appreciation. Participants also thanked the Managing Director of Pakistan Television, PTV Islamabad Center, and the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting for providing overseas Pakistanis with a national platform and supporting positive media initiatives.
“Da Jwand Qissa Pa Imarat Ke” is not merely a television program; it is an effective platform for highlighting the hard work, determination, and success stories of Pakistanis living around the world at both national and international levels. The program will not only pay tribute to the contributions of overseas Pakistanis but will also inspire young people to move forward, succeed in business, and turn their dreams into reality.
