LAHORE: Deputy Director Information Shehzad Ahmad virk has been promoted and appointed as Public Relations Officer (PRO) to the Governor of Punjab. The Government of Punjab has appointed Grade-18 Senior Deputy Director Shehzad Ahmad virk as PRO to the Governor of Punjab, and he has assumed charge of his new responsibilities.
Shehzad Ahmed virk joined DGPR Punjab in 2009. He has served as District Information Officer in Narowal, Nankana Sahib, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Bhakkar, Mianwali, Khushab, Jhelum, and Pakpattan. In addition, he has held positions as District Officer Coordination Nankana, Head of the Administrative Department at Punjab Journalists Housing Foundation Lahore, Director of Court and Culture at Punjab Arts Council, Divisional Director Public Relations Sargodha, and Director Arts Council Sargodha.
He possesses 20 years of experience in Public Relations, Coordination, Management, and Human Resources. He holds an MPhil in Mass Communication with a Roll of Honor distinction.
He is also the author of three books and is considered one of the competent officers of the Department of Information and Culture.
