PESHAWAR: Capital City Police Peshawar remains committed to ensuring timely justice and fulfilling its responsibilities towards public service.
CCPO Peshawar Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmad continued the initiative of holding open courts to hear citizens’ complaints directly and ensure their prompt resolution.
An open court was held on Monday at Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines, Peshawar, where women, senior citizens and other applicants presented their grievances before the CCPO. After hearing the complaints in detail, Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmad directed the concerned police officers to ensure immediate, transparent and effective action, resolve the issues within the stipulated time and submit written progress reports at the earliest.
Citizens submitted applications regarding property disputes, financial matters, domestic issues and other concerns. The CCPO directed the concerned officers to address all complaints on a priority basis and provide every possible legal and administrative assistance to the applicants.
Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmad said that providing timely justice, resolving public grievances and protecting the lives and property of citizens are among the top priorities of Peshawar Police. He reaffirmed that public service, transparency and the impartial enforcement of the law would be ensured at all costs.
