LAHORE : A high-level delegation comprising senior civil servants from the People’s Republic of Bangladesh arrived at the National School of Public Policy (NSPP), Lahore, on an official visit to participate in an executive development programme hosted by the Civil Services Academy (CSA), Lahore.
On behalf of Mr. Farhan Aziz Khawaja, Rector NSPP and Director General CSA, the distinguished delegation was warmly received by Mr. Asim Iqbal, Director General (Administration), NSPP, and Mr. Muhammad Bilal Akram, Director Administration & Finance, CSA. Senior officers and officials from both NSPP and CSA were also present on the occasion.
During their stay, the participants will engage in a series of professional sessions, interactive discussions, and institutional meetings focused on public administration, governance, public policy, institutional management, and leadership development. Study visits and other engagements have also been arranged to provide the delegation with an opportunity to experience Pakistan’s cultural heritage and hospitality.
This visit marks the first-ever official high-level delegation from Bangladesh to NSPP and CSA, representing a significant milestone in strengthening institutional linkages between the two countries. It is being viewed as an important step toward revitalizing historic ties of brotherhood and enhancing mutual understanding through structured professional and academic cooperation.
The programme is designed to promote knowledge exchange and professional collaboration through lectures, discussions, and field visits involving senior public sector professionals.
During the visit, Rector NSPP and DG CSA, Mr. Farhan Aziz Khawaja, will also hold meetings with the delegation to discuss matters of mutual interest, future collaboration, institutional partnerships, and opportunities for enhanced academic and professional cooperation between the civil service training institutions of Pakistan and Bangladesh.
The National School of Public Policy, Pakistan’s premier institution for senior civil service training, continues to advance excellence in governance and public administration through high-quality training programmes and international collaboration initiatives.
