PESHAWAR: The Directorate General of Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is organizing a special flood relief exhibition cricket match as part of its efforts to support and rehabilitate flood-affected families across the province.

The exciting match will take place on Saturday, August 30, at 1:30 PM at the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium, Peshawar, featuring Peshawar Zalmi and Legends XI.

The match has been titled “Khel Se Khidmat”, reflecting the spirit of solidarity and compassion with families affected by recent floods.

All proceeds from ticket sales will be dedicated to flood relief and rehabilitation initiatives.Similarly, tickets are being provided at Imran Khan Cricket Stadium Peshawar, Qayyum Stadium Peshawar Sports Complex and Hayatabad Sports Complex, Peshawar.

Speaking regarding this important event, Provincial Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Syed Fakhar Jehan, said sports are not only a source of entertainment but also a powerful medium of service and unity.

He added that this match is a symbol of our empathy and support for those who have suffered due to the devastating floods. He urged cricket fans and the public at large to participate wholeheartedly and stand shoulder to shoulder with the affected brothers and sisters, contributing towards their recovery and rehabilitation.
