PESHAWAR: Four Under-12 tennis players from The Midcourt Tennis Academy, Peshawar, have been selected to represent Pakistan in the Asian Junior Tennis Championship, being held from September 27 to October 3, 2026, at the Punjab Coaching Centre, Nishtar Park, Qaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
The selected players are M. Faizan Afridi, Riyan Umar Khalil, Salar Khan and M. Danyal. International tennis player and coach Uzair Khan will accompany the team.
On the instructions of KP Tennis Association President and DIG Saleem Khan Marwat, financial assistance of Rs. 5,000 each for the four players and Rs. 7,000 for Coach Uzair Khan was provided by SVP KP Tennis Association Umar Ayaz Khalil to support their participation in the championship.
Midcourt Tennis Academy coaches Zakir Ullah and Shahid Afridi were also present on the occasion.
The KP Tennis Association extended its best wishes to the players and coach, expressing hope that they would deliver outstanding performances and win medals for Pakistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
