The All Pakistan Inter-Provincial Police Football Championship 2026 concluded at the Police Ground, Garden Headquarters, with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police defeating Sindh Police 1-0 in the final to lift the championship trophy.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police put up an impressive performance in the final and secured a hard-fought victory over Sindh Police.
KP Police Sports In-charge Naeem Gul, Manager Akhtar Hussain, Coach Abid Ali and Asif Khan expressed their happiness over the team’s success. They said the title was the result of the players’ tireless efforts, dedication and teamwork.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police secured first position, while Sindh Police finished runners-up. National Highways and Motorway Police claimed third position, with Punjab Police finishing fourth.
At the closing ceremony, Additional Inspector General CTD Zulfiqar Lark presented the championship trophy to the victorious KP Police team and distributed medals among the players. Additional Inspector General Karachi Range Azad Khan presented the runners-up trophy to Sindh Police and distributed medals among their players.
The ceremony was attended by Chairman Sindh Police Sports Board/DIG Traffic Karachi Syed Pir Muhammad Shah, Chief CPLC Zubair Habib, Patrons of the Sindh Police Football Team Umar Butt and Dr. S.M. Rehan, along with senior police officers and members of the Sports Board.
All participating teams displayed competitive football, discipline and true sportsmanship throughout the championship. The event concluded on a memorable note, highlighting the importance of police sports, teamwork and healthy competition.
