Aisha Naz’s journey is one of courage, resilience and unwavering dedication to duty. Serving proudly in the Sindh Police, she faced an unimaginable tragedy in 2020 when a tragic road accident led to the loss of both her legs, many believed her journey had ended But Aisha proved that true warriors never surrender; they rise stronger, braver and more determined than ever before. Her story is not only about survival but also proving that no disability can come in the way of one’s dreams if determination is strong enough.

From a young age, Aisha dreamt of wearing the uniform and serving her beloved homeland. In 2018 with passion and persistence, she joined the Sindh Police a time when the participation of women in law enforcement was still limited. For Aisha, this was not just a career choice but a fulfillment of her childhood ambition.

However, her life took a devastating turn on June 2020, a day she recalls as the darkest of her life. On her way to the office, Aisha met with a horrific road accident. The accident left her critically injured and within weeks both of her legs had to be amputated due to severe damage.

“Life was going smoothly and suddenly everything changed,” she says. Yet, Aisha found strength in the unwavering support of her family and also the Sindh Police stood firmly by her side, becoming her backbone during the most critical period of recovery. Her greatest source of motivation, however came from her son Shahmeer who gave her the courage to rise again.

Accepting her new reality was not easy. It took nearly a year for Aisha to embrace her condition and rebuild her confidence. Instead of seeing herself as disabled, she chose to consider herself “differently-abled,” capable of achieving anything with the right mindset. With this renewed determination, Aisha returned to duty in 2022, rejoining the Sindh Police and serving in the Media Cell of the Karachi Police Office. Today, she is a part of the Central Police Office Media Cell, where she continues her service with the same dedication as before.

Aisha’s journey did not stop there. She pursued higher education, completing her Master’s in Mass Communication and also became part of the Independent Living Training Center, where she received training to empower herself and others with disabilities. Her efforts even took her abroad, where she learned methods of building independence and resilience despite physical limitations.

Through it all, Aisha acknowledges the role of faith in her journey. “Allah SWT is the best planner. Once we accept ourselves, everything around us slowly falls into place,” she says. Her message is simple yet powerful. Self acceptance is the first step toward societal acceptance and with determination no barrier can stand between a person and their goals.

Today, Constable Aisha Naz is more than just a police officer, she is a beacon of hope and inspiration for other women, for people with disabilities and for anyone striving to achieve their dreams against the odds. Her life is a reminder that true strength lies not in the absence of struggles but in the courage to rise after every fall. She remains deeply grateful to the Sindh Police for standing by her most difficult time, their unwavering support played a vital role in her journey of resilience and recovery.
