KOHAT: General Officer Commanding (GOC) Kohat is leading the ongoing clearance operation following the bomb blast at the mosque in Kohat Police Lines.
During the operation, the GOC met police and security personnel participating in the clearance activities and appreciated their morale, courage and determination.
Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Zulfiqar Hameed, was also present with the GOC.
The GOC praised the professional performance and coordination between Pakistan Army and police personnel during the operation.
He said Pakistan Army and police personnel were standing on the front line in the fight against militants.
“The sacrifices of the martyrs who laid down their lives for the protection of the country and nation will not go in vain,” the GOC said.
He added that the Pakistan Army and police remained fully prepared to eliminate militants and restore peace and security.
