PESHAWAR : Abdal Sikandari Adabi Karwan (ASAK) has announced that renowned travelogue writer Tabinda Farukh and prominent columnist Maryam Khan will be honored with gold medals in recognition of their literary services.
ASAK founder Bilal Sikandari said that the literary contributions of women writers would not be overlooked. He emphasized that, alongside male writers, ASAK would also recognize and honor women writers with awards and medals on the basis of their performance, literary services, and creative contributions.
He said that Tabinda Farukh and Maryam Khan have made significant contributions to their respective fields and have played an important role in promoting literature. In recognition of their achievements, ASAK has decided to confer gold medals upon both writers.
According to Bilal Sikandari, a formal ceremony will be organized soon, where the founder and president of ASAK will personally present the gold medals to the two distinguished women writers.
He further stated that ASAK is committed to encouraging writers and highlighting their literary contributions, adding that the organization will continue to recognize and appreciate deserving authors and literary figures in the future.
