PROVINCE REPORT

Peshawar: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi met prominent businessman Haji Irfanullah Khan Khalil, who apprised him of issues concerning his property.

During the meeting, Haji Irfanullah Khan Khalil stated that certain government departments were allegedly attempting to take possession of a property that is legally registered in the name of his wife. He claimed that officials had visited the site on several occasions and had demolished boundary walls despite the fact that all legal ownership documents, including the registered sale deed, land mutation records, and other relevant property documents, were available.

He further said that such treatment of members of the business community could adversely affect investment and business activities in the province.

After hearing his concerns, Governor Faisal Karim Kundi assured him that the matter would be taken up with the relevant departments for a thorough review. The Governor stated that if the property is legally registered in the name of his wife and all documentation is in order, their legal rights will be protected. He emphasized that no one’s property can be damaged or interfered with without due legal process and in accordance with the law.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Haji Irfanullah Khan Khalil thanked the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for his support and assurance.
