ISLAMABAD: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Tuesday met Federal Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi and discussed political affairs and the ML-1 railway project in detail.
During the meeting, the Governor said that the ML-1 railway project would prove to be a significant milestone in the development of the southern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He said the ML-1 railway track would create new opportunities for trade, investment and employment in the region, adding that the project would bring economic prosperity to the area upon its completion.
Governor Kundi stressed the importance of the timely completion of the project to ensure that its benefits reached the people at the earliest.
Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentary Leader in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Ahmad Kundi was also present during the meeting.
